Siesta Key and the surrounding area have a seemingly endless supply of things to do for young and old alike. Restaurants abound, both on and off the island ranging from casual to 5 star dining. Pubs, bars, dancing establishments of virtually every variety can be found within walking distance or a short drive away. Recreational opportunities include fishing, boating, parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking, watersports, golf, tennis, basketball, and the list goes on and on. Museums, State parks, water parks, art galleries, haute couture, and more, are a short distance away.

SIESTA KEY DRUM CIRCLE – Sundays
About 1 hour before sunset on Siesta Public Beach the community drum circle plays every Sunday in Sarasota. This group sports drums, cymbals, maracas, and anything else that will add to the beat. Each gathering lasts about an hour, and everyone is welcome. (Not a commercial event.)
